One hundred and ten poets have sent their poems in solidarity with Afghan poets and against censorship and repression to Baamdaad _ House Of Poetry In Exile. We sincerely appreciate and thank all these poets.
In the first anthology of this collection “No Jail Can Confine Your Poems”, which was published in Japan on August 15, 2023, the poems of 57 poets were included.
We chose the poems of all Japanese poets along with some poets whose poems were in English from all over the world, one poem from each country.
It was not possible for us to translate all the poems from different languages into Japanese. We have done all the work in this movement on a voluntary basis... There was not enough time and resources to translate and publish all the poems that we had received.
But the good news is that in the next collection that is scheduled to be published in France and in French language this November, we will try to include all the poems.
